I have noticed that chOG doesn't crops the OG description nicely - it just suddenly ends. I'm logging this ticket as per request
UPDATE: I am testing your latest test build and it is looking awesome, thank you!
Minor things I have noticed:
1. We use Yootheme pro and Widgetkit. The Widgetkit code added into articles is being pulled into the OG:description tag. See below
2. I have noticed that some pages get a "Bad Singnature" code. I am not sure if it is at all related to ochOG, but it is happening on a few of our stories featured on the home page. See here:
Once again, thank you for the amazing continued support!

Thanks for testing and reporting back!

When using the article text as og / twitter:description we need to strip all code (<script..., html, Joomla tags {...}).
Joomla default for tags is {...}, as I see now, Widgetkit uses [...] as tags: these are not stripped. I will add them to the 'strip' function. Consequence is that also text between [] will get stripped.
2. I have noticed that some pages get a "Bad Singnature" code. I am not sure if it is at all related to ochOG, but it is happening on a few of our stories featured on the home page. See here:
I have no experience with this facebook function. Sharing the page works, so I am not sure what the impact of this 'bad signature' message is.
Will do some investigation.
You are welcome, I will sent you an updated test version for the widgetkit code removal.Once again, thank you for the amazing continued support!

Thank you. Another alternative (or addition) would be if you offer an option to only use the introtext. In our case, we do not add any modules or plugins in that area and we generally leave it for a summary of the article to follow so in itself it is ideal.

Hi , new version in previous (edited) post. This now also strips [abc] tags and has the option to limit og:description and twitter:description to introtext only (when not set in article).

The only warning I in the OG debugger is this:
Tag specified as 'name' instead of 'property'
The following meta tags are specified using 'name' instead of 'property' and will be ignored unless specified using the 'property' key: og:site_name
But this has not visual impact on how it looks when shared.
Thanks again .

Good to hear that the improvements are working
Will push out a new version in the next couple of days. You can install (update) that version over your test version.
If you have any other questions or tips for features, please feel free to open a new topic.
Will close this one.
regards,
Ruud.
