thanks for getting in touch.
please note that you posted the credentials 'visible' on my forum, I changed that using the confidential tag so this information doesn't show to regular visitors.
but this means that the login credentials where 'exposed' for appr. half an hour. So change / remove these on your site to avoid misue.

I checked the plugin config (which is okay), and i also checked the page you provided. All information including twitter is correct in the page source:

So if there is an issue, this must be on the X side?
Can you tell me what it is that is not working (what do you mean with 'vignette'), maybe I do not understand your question?

the card seem correct on your side but on x (only this article is not showing the (vignette) = picture, i'll tested several other article that work fine, so its perhaps a bug on X i will try again, but i dont want to disturb regular user of X, anyway thanks you so much for your quick reply, have a sweet day, kind regards, guillaume

there used to be a card validator ( cards-dev.x.com/validator), it is still there but the preview image is not showing anymore. It can / could (?) be used for refreshing the cached data that X has stored for your shared URL.
There is also another way to have X get the data: add a query parameter to the URL.

here is some info on the tool / query parameter:

"Cards data continues to be cached for up to 7 days before being refreshed. The tool can also be used to provide a “hint” to the cards crawler to revisit your site, by adding a unique parameter to the URL, as described in the cards troubleshooting documentation, but in many cases there may be a delay before new metadata is reflected on Twitter itself.

no worries.
Although we can control what X fetches (via the meta tags), we cannot control how and when they fetch it.
With Mastodon I see somewhat the same behavior: as fast as possible post the text and then when time and server load permits fetch the image to display.
Maybe X is also prioritizing this way.
