Experiencing a 401 Unauthorized Error During Update?
If you're seeing a 401 Unauthorized error when trying to update your Joomla extension, it's likely due to our new two-factor authentication (2FA) security measure for your Download ID.
To resolve this, check your email (Spam folder?) for a message to approve your server or device, or read our detailed blog post here(
onlinecommunityhub.nl/best-practice/new-...-extension-downloads) to understand the steps involved. This will guide you through approving your server for future updates.

How does the GeoIp net sets work? werd gestart door Katherine Thackston
There does not seem to be an easy way to choose all the countries that I would like to block (which is most of them).
If I choose to only allow the United States, Canada, and parts of Europe, will this automatically block all the others?
If not, is there an easier way to select all the countries I need to block? Perhaps have the layout for country selections show all the countries at once with tick boxes to make the selections?

Hi,
when you select allow, everything (all the countries) gets blocked except the ones you selected. It works as an inversed (or reversed, not sure what the correct English is) block.
so in short reply to your question: yes
If you want to see (in detail) what is being blocked (or when in dry run mode: what would be blocked), you can look at the logfile: ./administrator/logs/plg_system_ochsimplefirewall-log.php
I have created a free component especially for this (to be able to see the logfiles in the back-end without going all the way to your hosting provider): onlinecommunityhub.nl/joomla-extensions/ochlogfiles

Thank you, I will add that plugin and review the logs.
That said, I initially set it up and had only the USA selected for 24 hours, but when I looked at my stat counter and the websites that had been to my url, there was an IP from China on there.

Hi,
there are multiple 'stops' on the way to you webpages:
hosting provider firewall > apache server > Joomla website
ochSimpleFirewall works (blocks) on the Joomla website.
So the questions is: where do you get the stats from? If the stats are form the apache server, then the blocked visitors are in the stats because they are able to visit your server (and counted in the stats for the server), but do not get the content / put load on the server because they are blocked by ochSimpleFirewall

Hi,
that error is there when the uploading of the package to your server (done by the installation process) for some reason failed, or the package is 'damaged'
Could you retry it and if that doesn't work download the ochLogFiles again from my server and then retry?
I have had several downloads and installs yesterday so the file should be fine.
