| Addition | VIES API failure behaviour config setting: Adds vies_on_failure config field (euvat fieldset, shown only when enable_vies=1). When set to 'pass', a VIES check that fails due to API instability (timeout, service unavailable, concurrent request limits) is treated as successful so the checkout can proceed with reverse charge applied. Definitively invalid VAT numbers (INVALID_INPUT, default SOAP fault) always fail regardless of this setting. Default is 'fail' — existing behaviour is unchanged until explicitly configured. |
