Implemented Update to ochSubscriptions 4.1.0 ends to error 500

Hello,

I'am on still Joomla! 5.1.4, i have updated from Joomla! update to the version 4.1.0 of ochSubscriptions but then when i try to access the component in backend i have an error 500.

I have discovered it when i have tried to update the PayPal plugin to the version 4.0.0 because it has failed with error 500.

How to solve this issue ?

Hi,
This due to the payment plugins that have new method signatures.
When you download the PayPal plugin and install it manually the installation should go okay. That will then also solve the error in the component

I have just installed manually the paypal plugin and all is solved. Thanks for th tip

Thanks for reporting back.
The issue arises when the 'old' plugin is already loaded, then it will throw an error as the old plugin is not compatible with the new ochSubscriptions version. I ran into this myself also on one of my sites, other sites upgraded just fine.
Will add a not to the plugins to inform others who are going to upgrade as well.
