Important Notice: Limited Support During Summer Vacation (August 21 - August 26)
It's that time of the year again: summer! And with it, the holidays are just around the corner.
I don't know what your plans are, but I will be heading out with my family to enjoy the outdoors and recharge for the second half of the year.

as far as I can see is that Convert Forms doesn´t use the Joomla Captcha system but rather has it's won captcha code: for Google reCaptcha and Hcaptcha.
I have asked Tassos support if he can confirm this or has another way that Joomla captcha plugins can be used in Convert Forms.
Will follow up here when I get a reply (probably next week).
Hi,
investigating for a customer of mine who is using Convert Forms why the joomla configured captcha (global config) isn't working.
Am i correct to conclude that Convert Forms doesn´t use the Joomla Captcha plugins but has it's own implementation of Google and Hcaptcha?
Or am I missing something in order to use a different Joomla captcha plugin?
Thanks in advance,
Ruud

That is correct, Convert Forms uses it's own implementation and doesn't rely on Joomla's plugins.
so they depend on their own implementation of these captcha solutions which in my book is not good as they now need to update (maintain / security) that code and miss out on all the other great plugins that do respect performance and privacy.
I have asked them if they are planning to follow the Joomla API for using the Joomla captcha plugins. Will follow up here if I have some more information on this.
