Experiencing a 401 Unauthorized Error During Update?

If you're seeing a 401 Unauthorized error when trying to update your Joomla extension, it's likely due to our new two-factor authentication (2FA) security measure for your Download ID.
To resolve this, check your email (Spam folder?) for a message to approve your server or device, or read our detailed blog post here( onlinecommunityhub.nl/best-practice/new-...-extension-downloads) to understand the steps involved. This will guide you through approving your server for future updates.

Update Sites 2FA not working was created by John Barber
Hello Ruud,

Happy New Year to you!

I received the recent email that there was an update for ochOpenGraph 2.1.1, and also the 2FA information back in September. I have all OCH extensions enabled in the Update Sites section, but they aren't being recognized it seems and I am not receiving notifications, except for emails. I have download keys set so not sure what might be happening.

At your convenience, please have a look.

Thank you,
John

Hi John,

Happy new year to you too!

Found it!

So my update server checks via a regex if the requesting server (yours) Joomla version is up to par for the download of the extension.
You are running version 4.4.10 but my regex only filtered up until 4.4.9

I have changed this on my side and now the update is offered on your server.

Thanks for bringing this to my extension John!

Regards,
Ruud.
